How Somrak Came to Be
Somrak began from a recognition that families facing estate and inheritance matters in Thailand often encountered the legal process at one of their most difficult times — after the loss of a loved one, or when longstanding family arrangements needed to be formalised. The founders saw that what families needed most was not just technical competence, but a practice that would take the time to listen and explain things clearly.
The practice opened its doors on Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok's Bang Na district, a location that reflects Somrak's orientation toward families across the wider city and surrounding areas. Over the years, the team has handled matters ranging from straightforward estate overviews to more involved multi-party inheritance proceedings, always with the same commitment to moving at a pace that suits the family involved.
Today, Somrak works with Thai families and with international families who have assets or interests in Thailand. The team is experienced in handling matters in both English and Thai, and understands the particular sensitivities that arise when family members are based in different countries.
